Summary: I chose Gibbs as my character to do my fanmix for.  The part of Gibbs life I am focusing on is when he loses his family.  However I did include on song. Daddy's Hands by Holly Dunn, to be about his interactions with his daughter when she was alive.  Most of the songs are about Gibbs losing Shannon and Kelly, although some of them are about the memories he holds on to of them.  Two songs I included might seem like weird choices, but they are relevant.  First, there is All Out of Love by Air Supply.  I included this one because of the line "I'm all out of love, I'm so lost without you".  To me this decribes how none of Gibbs other marriages did not work out.  Shannon was Gibbs one and true love.  I believe that Gibbs did care for his other wives but in his own way, but he basically lost his love with Shannon.  Secondly, I included that song Empty Chairs at Empty Tables from Les Miserables because of the lines "That I live and you are gone.
There's a grief that can't be spoken.  There's a pain goes on and on." To me this explains Gibbs greiving.  He doesn't really speak about losing Shannon and Kelly.  Whenever we see a flashback in an episode, Gibbs remembering them, almost always we see some sort of greif/pain in his expression.  This type of loss Gibbs just doesn't get over; it will stay with him the rest of his life. And "Empty chairs at empty tables" was another reason because Shannon and Kelly are gone, never to sit at the table in Gibbs house.  Never to grave the halls of that house again.  Please just ignore the stuff about the barricades and rebellion.
