Callen sighed as he headed into Hetty's office, knowing this case was going to be difficult with the SecNav breathing down their necks about finding the missing admiral.

"Good morning, Mr. Callen! Would you like a cup of tea?" Hetty asked.

"No, I came to tell you that we found the admiral's cell phone and the last person he called was Granger," Callen said, "half an hour before he disappeared."

After a few moments of silence, Hetty put down her tea cup, "I see Mr. Callen and just where is Assistant Director Granger now?"

"Well, that's the problem," Callen answered slowly. "He's missing too."

"I want Mr. Deeks and Ms. Blye to search the admiral's house while you and Mr. Hanna search Assistant Director Granger's house for clues," Hetty said as she reached for the phone.

"Okay", Callen said. He was not looking forward to scour the house of the Director.
Nell and Eric went through the laptops brought back from the searches and found dozens of e-mails each man had sent to the other, all concerning a man named Henri who they suspected of a plan to assassinate the SecNav.

While Nell and Eric were searching for more information on Henri, Kensi and Deeks found the admirals house and found it picked over: everything was missing.

"Hetty's not going to like what we found," Deeks said with a sigh.

Deeks and Kensi arrived back at HQ where they were briefed on the assassination plot and where the found out that Henri was in L.A. for some reason.

"Hopefully Sam and G. have found out something", Kensi said and look over at Deeks, had to smile because his hair was even more out of control than normal this morning.

Sam called Eric just then, reporting that he found blood spatter on the doorstep of Granger's house, and both him and his partner were on high alert because it was hard to tell whose it was.

"Hetty wants you two back at OPs once you guys finish processing the scene," Eric informed Callen; "There's been some new developments."

Callen and Sam arrived at OPS, and were surprised to find that the room was empty.

They found Hetty in her office and were told that Eric and Nell had succeeded in locating Henri and they, along with Kensi and Deeks had gone to his hotel to try to bring him in peacefully; Sam and Callen were to meet them at the boat shed.

"Damnit Sam! We still have no evidence of Granger's whereabouts. We desperately need answers," said G and entered the boat shed.

When Sam and G entered the boat shed, they discovered Granger there, along with the admiral. Granger was questioning the admiral in the interrogation room about why Henri might have wanted the admiral dead, and the answer surprised all of them.

With Granger breathing down his neck, the admiral was nervous; before this all started the only thing out of place was that his wife was acting weird.... She was entirely too attentive, instead of usually giving him the cold shoulder like she had been for the last two weeks.

Deeks suddenly awoke with a start and looked over at Kensi who was grinning at him, "I know, I know, you told me not to eat the last of those hot peppers before bed, or I would have weird dreams, but it could have been worse, at least this time it was Sam and Callen who had to search Granger's house - shame I woke up before I could figure out what was up with the admiral's wife."
